RIP to the late Gerry Walsh, Cyril Houlihan and Stephen Kelly.

The death has occurred of Gerry Walsh

Hillview, Rathcoole, Dublin / Clane, Kildare / Tuam, Galway.

April 13, 2024, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital, beloved husband of the late Sylvia, deeply regretted by his loving wife Irina, sons Darren and Gareth, stepdaughter Nailia, grandchildren Adam and Emily, daughter-in-law Vivienne, sisters Sr Frances, Eileen and Noreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Funeral mass will take place in St Patrick and St Brigid's Church, Clane on Friday at 10.30am, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Cyril Houlihan

Huntstown, Dublin / The Curragh, Kildare.

April 15, 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Cyril, beloved husband of the late Bernie.

Sadly missed by his loving sons Damien, David and Darren, daughter Anna, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, all his friends in the Weavers P& P Club, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at home on Wednesday evening (April 17) between 5pm and 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning (April 18) to the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Huntstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.

Cavan town, Cavan / Newbridge, Kildare.

April 14, 2024, peacefully at St James’s Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre deceased by his parents Stephen and Mary Kelly, Cootehill Road, Cavan.

Deeply regretted by his brother Seamus, sisters Pat, Stephanie, Honor, Miriam and Olivia, stepmother Mary, brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, nephew, grand nieces and nephews, cousins, all his relatives and his many friends.

April 15, 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Tallaght Hospital.

Predeceased by his mam and dad Kathleen and Paddy, sisters Peg and Ann, and brother Pat.

Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Nora, Kathleen, Bernadette and Assumpta, brothers Jimmy, Joe, Paul, Noel and Peter, his partner Kathleen and family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Wednesday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to arrive at Cill Mhuire, Newbridge for Mass at 11am.

Funeral afterwards to St Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.

The death has occurred of Peter Loughrey

Clonuff, Broadford, Kildare, W91 Y2C7.

Peter passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents James and Mary, brothers Seamus, Joe, Mick and Brendan and sister Nellie.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family: wife Geraldine, brothers Bill, Paddy, Tom, Kit and Matt, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (eircode W91 Y2C7) this Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm.

Peter's Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 2pm in St Mary's Church, Broadford followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Rita McCann (née O'Reilly)

Celbridge, Kildare / Cootehill, Cavan.

Died peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024 in her own bed at home after a long fight with cancer.

Predeceased by her parents Tommy and Gretta.

Deeply missed by her husband of forty eight years, Michael, her son Paul, daughter-in-law Orlaith and granddaughter Aoibhinn.

Sadly missed by her sister Eilleen and brother-in-law Bill, her sister Mary (Min), her brother Paddy and sister-in-law Mary, by her nieces, nephews, cousins at home and abroad and by their families. Fondly remembered by a wide circle of friends, particularly those made during her years in Celbridge library. 

Reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Ardclough Road, Celbridge (W23 AK13) on Tuesday afternoon (April 16) from 3pm to 6pm and from 7pm onwards at home for neighbours and friends.

Removal to St Patrick’s Church Celbridge on Wednesday morning (April 17) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery.
