A burglary which occurred in North Kildare has led to a garda investigation.

A garda spokesperson confirmed the specific details of the incident for the Leinster Leader.

The spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at a house in the Hartwell area of Kill, County Kildare, on April 3, 2024 at approximately 3pm.

"A number of items and a sum of cash were taken from the property.

"No arrests have been made."

They concluded: "Investigations are ongoing."
