A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council for a restaurant at Johnstown Garden Centre off the N7.
Being proposed is a 143.8s square metre single storey extension to the retail area.
Permission is sought for the change of use from retail to restaurant of an overall area of 466.3 square metres.
The plans will incorporate an enlarged kitchen, preparation areas, freezer areas and staff areas.
Also in the designs is a single storey conservatory extension to the restaurant, according to Construction Information Services database.
A single storey glass entrance/exit lobby area is also in the plans.
There will also be electrical vehicle parking spaces.
