A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council by the Society of the Divine Word for an extension of an existing rectory in Maynooth.

Being planned is the construction of a three storey residential extension to the existing rectory on the Moyglare Road.

It is proposed that the extension will provide five rectory bedrooms and one rectory foyer space.

The total gross floor area of the new build is 433 square metres.

The site has an area of 1.4 hectares.

The estimated construction value of the proposals is around €450,000, according to Building Information Ireland database.
