Members of An Garda Síochána (AGS) based in County Kildare are investigating a burglary incident in Kilcock, which resulted in jewellery being stolen.
According to a spokesperson for AGS: "Gardaí received a report of an incident of burglary that occurred on March 21, 2024 in the Fanagh area of Kilcock, County Kildare.
"No arrests have been made."
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson concluded.
Garda John-Joe O'Connell also spoke about the incident when he appeared on KFM Radio yesterday morning.
He told host Eoin Beatty that the incident occurred during the daytime, and that jewellery worth between €1,500 and €2,000 was stolen from the property.
Gda Connell also said that anyone with information in relation to the burglary can contact Kilcock Garda Station on 01 675 7390.
