Name these puppies — MADRA dog rescue asks public to help name 8 rescued pups

Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) is asking the public to help name eight rescued puppies.

The charity issued the appeal on International Puppy Day yesterday (March 24) by posting a video of the four girls and four boys in their foster home, where they are reportedly doing "so well".

In a Facebook post, MADRA stated, "Can you think of any name suggestions? It's a big litter, and one of four litters that have come into our care recently."

Dozens of people have put forward their ideas so far, with some people suggesting names under a theme such as artists, or names starting with P after the puppies' mother, Polly.

One commenter suggested 'Monet, Sisley, Picasso, Dali, Turner, Klimt, Cezanne and Bonnard' while another suggested 'Peader, Pluto, Paris, Pascal, Primrose, Petal, Poppie and Pollyanna'.

MADRA is also seeking donations to help pay for the puppies' ongoing care in the future.

MADRA stated, "They all will need lots of vaccinations, wormers, microchips and more. Please, can you help us fund their care? Any donation, no matter how small, will help!"
