Gardai are appealing for information in relation to a crash that claimed the life of a man in Co Offaly on Valentine’s Day.
“On the 14/2/24 at 8.50am a Serious Road Traffic Collision occurred on the R401 between Rathangan and Clonbullogue in the Townland of Coolygagen (Co.Offaly).
"One male in his Mid Forties who was a passenger in one of the vehicles has since died from injuries sustained in this Collision,” Gardaí stated.
“Kildare Town Gardai who are investigating this Collision are appealing for anyone who witnessed this Collision to contact them at Kildare Garda Station (045-527730).
"They are particularly interested to speak to anyone who was in the area at this time and who may have dashcam footage,” Gardaí added.
