The inspection will be planned by Kildare County Council.
An inspection of an area located within the Clane-Maynooth Municipal District (MD) will take place soon.
Kildare County Council (KCC) made the announcement at the latest MD meeting on Friday, February 2 last.
Fianna Fáil councillor Paul Ward motioned for KCC 'to install additional signage, road markings and lighting at the pedestrian / road pinch point on Connaught Street near Ledwill Estate, Kilcock, due to ongoing safety concerns.'
KCC assured Cllr Ward that the the MD Engineer will inspect this area, in order 'to see what temporary works can be provided.'
