KILDARE COURT: Woman was shaken by her former partner

Abusive man arrested at Naas Courthouse

A woman was shaken by her former partner, she claimed at Naas District Court.

She told the court the man is aggressive and does not control his anger.

She further alleged she is afraid of him and afraid to talk to him.

“We still live together because I can’t find a place,” she told Judge Desmond Zaidan.

She woman also said she had applied for social housing accommodation, adding she has a child.

She said he abused her and her daughter and had shaken her and tried to throw her out of the house.

The court was also told she had to call the gardaí.

Granting an interim protection order, Judge Zaidan said if any issues arise before the next hearing, she should go to the gardaí. He adjourned the matter to April 8 next for a fuller hearing.
