RIP to the late Patrick (Paddy) Coddy, Rosanna Flynn and Margaret Keane (née Gorman).

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Cody

Dungourney, Cork / Fr Murphy Square, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / The Curragh, Kildare.

Retired BQMS, Irish Defence Forces.

Paddy died peacefully on January 29, 2024 in the loving care of the wonderful staff at Youghal & District Nursing Home, Gortroe, County Cork.

Paddy will be dearly missed by his loving brothers Liam in Florida and Anthony (Tony) in Dungourney, County Cork, sisters-in-law Margaret and Monica, his nephew John, nieces Fiona and Antoinette, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives, his many friends and neighbours and all of his army colleagues.

Paddy is predeceased by his parents William and Margaret.

May Paddy Rest In Peace.

Paddy’s family would like to especially acknowledge the care and kindness shown to him by all the staff at Youghal & District Nursing Home.

Paddy will repose in Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue Midleton on Tuesday, January 30, from 7.30pm - 8.45pm.

Reception into St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny on Wednesday, January 31, for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in St Kieran’s Cemetery, Kilkenny.

The death has occurred of Rosanna Flynn

Parnell Road, Harold's Cross, Dublin 12, Dublin / Maynooth, Kildare.

Formerly of London and Hampshire, UK.

January 26, 2024, peacefully in the wonderful care in the TLC Nursing Home, Maynooth.

Pre-deceased by her parents Esther and Ernest, sister Christabel, deeply regretted by her loving sister Stella, brother-in-law Lloyd, nephews Michael and Romany, grand-niece Indigo, grand-nephew Isaac, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster Street, Maynooth (W23 V99E) on Thursday (February 1) from 5pm to 8pm.

Removal on Friday at approx. 9:15am to arrive at Newlands Cross Crematorium Chapel for 10am Celebration of Life Service.

The death has occurred of Margaret Keane (née Gorman)

Killybegs Manor, Prosperous, Kildare / Maynooth, Kildare / Tubbercurry, Sligo.

January 29, 2024, peacefully at St Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh surrounded by her loving family.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband John, children Peter, James, Michael and Louise, daughter-in-law Ciara, Fiona and Julia, grandchildren Sean and Aoife, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, her beloved dog Bundee Aki and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday from 4pm - 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm.

Removal from her residence on Thursday at approx. 11.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St Joseph, Prosperous for 12pm Funeral Mass, followed by committal in Newlands Cross Crematorium at approx. 2pm.

The death has occurred of Laurence Keane

Castle Park, Athy, Kildare.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the care of Bloomfield, Rathfarnham, Dublin on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Predeceased by his grandparents Bridget and George Bartley, Michael and Annie Keane and his brother who died in infancy.

He will be sadly missed by his mother and father Teresa and James Fennell, siblings Annette, Sandra, James, Louisia, Jonathan and Christopher, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, godchildren, godmother, nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. 

Laurence will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Tuesday from 5pm with prayers at 6pm removal at 6.45pm to arrive at St Michael’s Parish Church for reception prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am (click here for livestream link).

Burial afterwards in St Michael's (New) Cemetery, Athy.
