Work is beginning on a residential development at the former Ambassador Hotel site in Kill.
Permission has been granted in 2022 for 33 homes comprising of 21 houses and 12 apartments
Being constructed are 21 two bed units of which eight are apartments and the remaining 13 are two-storey houses.
Also in the plans are eight two-storey three bed houses and four one-bed apartments.
The estimated cost of the project is €4.5m, according to Building Information Ireland database.
Permitted works include the part demolition of existing boundary walls, the construction of new site entrance.
The plans provide for new landscaping, internal road network and footpaths, public lighting, tree surgery and car parking.
The development will have a total floor area of 4,000 square metres.
