A rock band who featured at Electric Picnic last year and have links to Newbridge have just released an original song.
Barrfite is a band made up of: lead singer Harry Maloney, 19, from Stradbally in County Laois (near the border of County Kildare); guitarist Adam Hughes, 19, from Clarehall, County Dublin; bassist James Moriarty-Smyth, 19, from Sandyford in County Dublin; and drummer Sam Kelly, 19, from Newbridge, County Kildare.
They are managed by 19-year-old Brigid Burke, who is originally from Philadelphia in the United States, but who currently resides in County Galway.
The band's single, 'Black Sheep', which was released to promote a currently untitled Extended Play (EP) due for release, is available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.
Prior to release of the new song, Barrfite announced that they were going on tour in order to promote the upcoming EP.
The group kicked off 'The Black Sheep Tour' on January 13 last when they played at Sin É in Dublin.
