A new café is being planned in Newbridge.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on the issue.
Being planned is the change of use of an existing single story retail unit on Edward Street for a mixed use development as a coffee shop.
Also planned is a take-away facility, a sit-down restaurant with take-away facility, a new front door and front façade.
The planning documents also include an external retractable canopy and an external seating area with removable wind screens.
The estimated construction value of the project is €207,000, according to the Construction Information Services database.
