It was a busy morning for collisions on the N7 this morning.
Dublin Fire Brigade said it had to deal with a road traffic collision inbound at J3 (Citywest).
One lane remained open which led to traffic tailbacks.
Earlier in the morning, there was a road traffic collision at Junction 3 (Citywest) westbound.
Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) said the scene was handed over to motorway service.
DFB said: "Extremely heavy traffic reported in the area. Approach with caution."
