A vehicle was seized from an unaccompanied learner driver who was on Learner permit for 20 years.
The driver was one of a number of motorists who were faced by gardaí at a checkpoint in Naas.
The official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter said: "Gardaí in Naas operated 14 separate road checkpoints around the district on Saturday night.
"Six drivers were arrested for drink / drug driving.
"Two vehicles were seized for no insurance and (an) unaccompanied learner driver on learner permit for 20 years."
"Five fixed charges were issued," the account added.
