Stop/Go traffic light measures will be operation.
Road works will take place in Johnstown Bridge for four weeks.
Kildare County Council said in a statement released yesterday: "Road works to take place on R402 in Johnstown Bridge village between L5014 Thomastown junction and Blackwater bridge from Tuesday, October 31, for a duration of four weeks.
"Stop-Go/traffic lights will be in operation to facilitate the works."
The council added that it 'apologises for any inconvenience caused.'
