KILDARE: Ex-partner threatened to expose intimate images

A woman told Naas District Court her ex-partner threatened to expose intimate images of her to her family and workmates.

The woman was seeking a protection order at a family law hearing.

The woman also said she has been intimidated by her ex-partner, with whom she has a child.

She said his behaviour “has escalated since.”

The woman claimed that her ex-partner, who was not present in court, came to her property, opened the gate and banged on the front window to get the child’s attention.

She said he said “come out to daddy.”

The woman also said she told him he was trespassing and contacted the gardaí who came out.

She stated she had given him money as part of a settlement and she is the sole occupant of the house.

Judge Desmond Zaidan said details on the court document field as part of the application needed to be amended and he adjourned the case for detail to be clarified.
