Surface overlay works will take place in the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District (MD).
Kildare County Council has said that the works will commence from Halloween.
The council explained: "The Kildare Newbridge MD gives advance notice of Surface overlay works on the R445 Dual Carriageway beginning on Tuesday, October 31, for a period of two weeks.
"Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works."
"We regret any inconvenience caused and your co operation is appreciated," the council added.
