The death has occurred of Roderick (Roddy) Spain

Naas, Johnstown, Kildare / Clane, Kildare.

October 17, 2023, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, sons Thomas, Martin, John and Paul, daughter-in-law Barbara, grandchildren Michael, Ellen, Saoirse, Joseph and Frankie, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane (W91 YPX4) on Friday from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal on Saturday at 9.30am to arrive at St Patrick and St Brigid's Church, Clane for 10am funeral mass, followed by burial in St Corban's Cemetery, Naas.

October 17, 2023, peacefully at home, after a long brave fight, surrounded by her adoring family.

Sadly missed by her husband Philip, children Philip, Alan, Barry, and Sandra, grandchildren Simon, Alex, Mia, Cian, Lily, Luke and Adam, son-in-law Stephen, daughter-in-law Tara, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours in Kildare, Dublin and elsewhere.

Died on October 18, 2023 peacefully at Naas General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family in his 91st year.  

Very deeply regretted by his loving Wife  Betty, Sons Tom, Liam and Alan, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Adrienne and Susan, Grandchildren Liam Óg, Stephen and Aoife, Nieces, Nephews, Neighbours, Relatives and a large circle of friends.

October 17, 2023, in the Excellent care of Tullamore Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, his brother Christy Noons, his sister Betty Edgar and his grandson Lorcan Brereton.

Paddy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Tessie, his children, Margaret, Mel, Padraig, Claire and Jennie, his brothers Con and Phil, sisters Josie and Ann and sisters in law Mary and Moira.

Dearly loved by his grandchildren, Grainne, Ciara, Sinead, Aine, Matthew, Niall, Chris, Callie and Dan, sons in law Seamus O’Donohoe, Pat Brereton, Seamus O’Rourke and Claire’s partner Roisin.

Funeral Mass at 11am Friday, 20th October, in the Church of the Assumption and St Patrick, Rathangan, County Kildare, followed by burial in Coolegegan Cemetery.
