The Newbridge Family Resource Centre is organising the event, which will take place in the town hall.
The Newbridge Family Resource Centre (NFRC) is hosting a free event for fathers and their young sons in the town hall.
According to the NFRC, the aim of 'Kildare Dad's Fest' is to celebrate fathers all across the county.
The event will be open to fathers and their children aged between 0 to 12 years of age.
The NFRC has said that activities available on the day will include: sensory play, drumming, wood craft, indoor sports, balloons, and facepainting.
Refreshment will also be provided at the event.

Kildare Dad's Fest will take place on Saturday, October 21 at Newbridge Town Hall, and will run from 10am until 3pm.
