Gardaí have alleged that suspected cocaine was found in a bag belonging to a Kildare resident.

The accusations were made at Naas District Court on Thursday, October 12 last, and relate to one David O'Sullivan, with an address listed as Betaghstown Cross Road in Clane, but who is currently serving a custodial sentence.

It was alleged by gardaí that the 37-year-old had €1,679.44 worth of suspected cocaine in a bag on his person at Yew Tree Square in Clane on June 20, 2022.

Judge Desmond Zaidan accepted jurisdiction over the case involving Mr O’Sullivan and adjourned it to October 19 for hearing.
