RIP to the Mary Byrne (née Behan), Elizabeth (Bette) Carroll (née McDermott) and Lily Fitzsimons (née Byrne).

The death has occurred of Mary Byrne (née Behan)

Castlemitchell, Athy, Kildare, R14 XW32.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. 

Predeceased by her parents Brigid and Jimmy and daughter Mairéad.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Linda, siblings John, Kathleen and Martin, son-in-law David, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Emma , Nicole and Grace, ex-husband Paddy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence (R14 XW32) on Monday evening (October 2)  from 5pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning to arrive at St Michael's Parish Church, Athy, for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie/

Burial afterwards in Churchtown New Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Bette) Carroll (née McDermott)

Blackrock, Dublin / Kildare.

Died peacefully on the morning of her 93rd birthday - surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook.

Bette was the much loved youngest daughter, and last surviving member, of the family of Jack and May McDermott.

She shared fifty wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Tom, and was a devoted mother to Maeve, Bill and David and cherished friend to their partners Michael, Liz and Joe.

Bette was a devoted grandmother to Ciaran, Andrew and Laura and a much loved aunt to her many nieces, grand-nieces and nephews.

Bette will be deeply missed by her extended family, wide circle of friends and her kind neighbours in Pine Court.

Funeral Mass will take place at 10am on Tuesday October 3, in the Church of the Guardian Angels on Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.

The death has occurred of Lily Fitzsimons (née Byrne)

Sheane, Rathangan, Kildare.

September 30, 2023, peacefully at Tullamore Regional Hospital.

Wife of the late Seamus (recently deceased), mother of the late Martin. 

Lily will be sadly missed and remembered  by her children John, James, Paul, Pat, Mary, Bernard, Brendan & Kieran, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughters in law, son in law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Lily Rest In Peace.

Peacefully, at Naas Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. 

Pre-deceased by his parents William and Alicia and his brothers Mattie, Tom, John and Anthony and sister Myra. 

Sadly missed by his loving sister Kitty, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Allenwood, from 3pm on Monday with Rosary at 7pm.  

Removal on Tuesday morning to arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Allenwood, for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Allen Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Colman O'Callaghan

Springfield, Bundoran Road, Sligo Town, Sligo / Celbridge, Kildare / Buncrana, Donegal.

September 30, 2023 suddenly at Sligo University Hospital.

Dearly loved husband of Geraldine and father of Anne (Midleton), Dermot (Dublin) and Ian (Sligo).

Predeceased by his brother Joseph and sister Pauline Reilly.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sister Gabrielle Fleming (Clones), son-in-law Colm Stack, daughter-in-law Astou N’diaye, grandchildren, Emma, Laura and Ayana, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Mass of the resurrection at 11.30am on Wednesday October 4th in Saint Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormac, County Sligo.

The Park, Sallins Road, Naas, Kildare / Dunlavin, Wicklow / Mullingar, Westmeath.

Beloved husband of the late Theresa.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter Fiona, sons Enda and Karl, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Maeve and Caroline, grandchildren Eoin, Oisín, Róisín, Clodagh, Fionn, Bláithín, Tom, Dax and Robbie, sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Donal, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm. 

Funeral on Wednesday morning with Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of The Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas (eircode W91 K6CT) and afterwards to St Corban’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas.

The death has occurred of Annette Owens

Sally Mills, Rathangan, Kildare and Zurich, Switzerland.

September 21, 2023.

Predeceased by her parents Bernard, and Philomena and baby brother Ronald. 

Annette will be very sadly missed by her brothers, Michael, Bernard and Sam.

Her sisters in law, nieces, nephews  extended family and friends.

May Annette Rest In Peace.

Annette will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry on Monday evening (October 2) from 5 o'clock to 8 o'clock.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning (October 3) at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption and St Patrick, Rathangan.   

Burial afterwards in St Patrick Cemetery, Rathangan.
