An extension to the offices of a Newbridge company has been approved.

A decision to grant planning permission was issued by Kildare County Council.

Murphy International Limited at Great Connell has been granted permission for the construction of a new two-storey extension to provide additional office accommodation.

Also planned is the construction of an internal pedestrian walkway link at first floor level within the existing fabrication workshop.

The plans include provisions for new windows and doors.

Five additional bicycle parking spaces are planned.

The estimated construction value is over €400,000 and the floor area is 234 square metres.

The total site area spans 0.3 of a hectare.
