KILDARE: Plans revealed for large campsite with shop and café

Plans have been revealed for a large serviced campsite in Kildare.

A planning application for the project near Kealstown, Ladychapel, Maynooth was submitted to Kildare County Council.

Permission is being sought for 42 serviced camp sites and a clubhouse building with indoor activity rooms, shop, coffee dock, cleaners store, reception area and staff toilet.

Also planned are two toilet blocks consisting of gents and ladies toilets and family changing areas with wash up area.

Permission is also sought for 38 car parking spaces with four car charging points and 20 covered cycle parking spaces.

The total site area is almost four hectares and the estimated construction value is €1.3m.
