Eight motorists have been fined by gardaí for speeding in North Kildare.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter: "Naas Roads Policing Unit carried out a number speed checks in North Kildare recently.
"Eight motorists were detected exceeding the speed limit in a 50kph and 80kph zones."
The account added: "Each motorist was fined €160 and issued 3 penalty points."
