Maynooth
The developer of a Maynooth residential area intends to complete works.
Cllr Angela Feeney asked for information about when the Mullen Park development will be completed.
She also asked what engagement had taken place with the developer.
A Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting was told that the council is in “ongoing liaison with the developers.”
KCC say that the developers “have outlined that it is their intention to complete the roads and open spaces in the occupied sections of the estate in the coming months.”
It added the extremely wet conditions in July “impacted on their ability to complete the landscaping and they are now waiting for the areas to dry sufficiently to allow them to landscape.”
In the meantime the developers have agreed to sweep and keep clean all of the roads.
The remaining phases of the estate are expected to be completed in the next 24 months.
