A very healthy €562 was raised for KARE at a recent table quiz in Prosperous.
KARE has been providing a wide range of supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Kildare and surrounding areas since 1967.
Organised by Aontú's Kildare branch, its candidate for the local elections Una O’ Connor, said "Aontú members in Kildare are delighted to have been able to organise this very well attended quiz and help KARE in a very practical way."
She added: "It is a wonderful organisation, providing a much needed service and we in Aonú will continue to help them all we can."
