KILDARE: Local rugby club looking to build referee rooms

A recent event at MU Barnhall Rugby Club

A local rugby club is looking to extend its existing clubhouse. 

A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council by MU Barnhall Rugby Football Club.

Being planned is a single storey extension to the east of the existing clubhouse at Parsonstown, Leixlip. 

The proposed development will comprise of four new changing rooms with shower facilities attached.

Also in the plans are two referee rooms with a shower room attached.

A general storeroom is also in the designs. 

The total area is 266 square metres. 

The estimated construction value of the proposed project is over €500,000, according to Construction Information Services database.
