A Kildare-based writing group will welcome renowned author to Newbridge Library for an informal evening event.
InkTank Writing Group has said that it will invite down Martina Murphy, whose 23rd novel, The Reckoning, was published last month.
The Reckoning is the third book in the DS Lucy Golden series set in Achill Island.
Martina originally wrote for young adults, then changed to commercial fiction, before writing in her latest genre, crime fiction.
Her books have been sold internationally and translated into numerous languages.
The event will take place at the library on Tuesday, September 19, at 6pm.
InkTank was initially established in 2018, and has published two anthology books, made up of contributions from a large number of its members.
Members of the group include author Maria McDonald and Kildare-based journalist Conor Forrest.
