Dublin act The Script has been added to the line-up of Electric Picnic 2023.
The band had been widely rumoured to be the act who were yet to be revealed for the Stradbally festival which takes place on the first weekend in September.
The Script has had a tough year as their guitarist Mark Sheehand died following a short illness in April of this year.
Electric Picnic appear to have confirmed the recent rumours today with a post on social media.

The Script will play the festival alongside other headliners like The Killers, Billie Eilish and Niall Horan.
