Maynooth
A call has been made for a bus terminal to be provided in a busy Kildare town.
Green Party councillor Peter Hamilton wants Kildare County Council to "begin proper planning for a bus terminal in Maynooth with adequate capacity to support both current and planned significant increases in volume and quality of public transport."
He wants the proposal to be included as part of the Local Area Plan process - the document that plans and oversees overall planning and development in Maynooth.
