THE Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has issued a safety alert about portable charger.
The issue has been identified with Portable Charger for Karcher Wv50 Battery Charger-UK Plug sold by a third-party retailer using the Fruugo Platform.
According to the CCPC, the product presents a risk of electric shock.
“The product does not comply with the requirements of the relevant safety standards.The model number is BJZ-05506. The brand and barcode are unknown,” they said.
CCPC added: “The product was sold online by a retailer using the Fruugo platform. There are approximately 73 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.”
