UPDATE: Man accused of committing murder in Newbridge, County Kildare, has case sent forward for trial

A man who denies murdering another man in Newbridge has had his case sent forward for trial.

A book of evidence was served on Damian Szatowksi, with an address given as Peachville, Kilshane, Dublin 11, County Dublin, but who is currently remanded in custody, on Thursday, July 27 at Naas District Court.

The 37-year-old is accused of murdering Slovakian national Marcel Kusenda (Senior) at a property located in Piercetown, Newbridge, on March 8 last.

After the book was served on Mr Szatowski, substitute Judge Alec Gabbett sent the accused forward for trial to the next sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court, which will commence on October 3.
