A Clane resident allegedly made threats to murder gardaí, it was claimed at Naas District Court on Thursday, July 13.

Last month, it was reported that Scott Robinson, with an address given as 17 Central Park Avenue, Clane but who is currently in custody on other matters, was accused of producing a flick-knife at his home on April 2 last.

However, on the latest court date, the 21-year-old was accused by gardaí of producing two 12-inch blades and issuing death threats when he was confronted by gardaí at Central Park Avenue.

Judge Desmond Zaidan refused jurisdiction over the case, citing the serious nature of the allegations, and remanded Mr Robinson in custody to July 20.

A book of evidence is due to be presented on this date.
