LATEST: Plans for new adventure course in Kildare forest

A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council by Zipit Forest Adventures Limited for the erection of a high wire and nets adventure activity course near Donadea Castle. 

The proposed facility is comprised of wooden platforms which are suspended on trees.

A single-storey reception cabin, decking area, staff cabin are also in the documents.

The facility is planned for the curtilage of Donadea Castle and Donadea demense.

Zipit currently have three other locations Ireland: Lough Key Co Roscommon; Tibradden Wood Co Dublin and Farran Park Co Cork.

Zipit Forest Adventures Limited previously refused planning permission for a similar development on this site.
