RIP to the late Noel Cawley, Alice Conlon (née Corcoran) and Margaret (Rita) Lavin (née Fleming).

The death has occurred of Noel Cawley

Eadestown, Naas, Kildare / Sligo

Eadestown, Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Moygara, Gurteen, Co. Sligo. Peacefully on June 29, 2023, surrounded by his family in the tender care of the nursing staff of St Elizabeth’s Ward at the Mater Private Hospital.

Beloved husband of Anita, much loved father of Lisa and Claire and brother of John.

Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth and his sister Christina.

He will be very sadly missed by his wife, daughters, brother John, sons-in-law Mark & Joe, adored grandchildren David, James & Julia, sisters-in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (eircode W91 CD0K) on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm with Prayers at 5.30pm.

Funeral on Monday with Requiem Mass at 10am in The Church of Our Lady and St David, Naas and afterwards to Eadestown Cemetery.

The Mass will be streamed from the Naas Parish website on Naas Webcam.

The death has occurred of Alice Conlon (née Corcoran)

Cnoc na Greine Lawn, Kilcullen, Kildare / Kimmage, Dublin

The sudden death has occurred of our precious mam, Alice Conlon (née Corcoran). Cnoc na Greine Lawn and formerly of Poddle Park and Stanaway Road, Kimmage, Dublin 12.

Loving wife of the late George and amazing mother of Ann-Marie, Liam, Dave, Suzanne and Louise.

Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Seanie and Ben, daughters-in-law Mary and Aggie, grandchildren Sarah, Eoin, Kevin, Dean, Adam, Emma, Sean, Lauren, Karl, Ryan, Rachel, Jenny, Grace and Zack, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May Alice Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at her home on Friday from 4pm to 7pm.

Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at The Church of The Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by Burial in St Brigid’s Cemetery, Kilcullen.

The death has occurred of Margaret (Rita) Lavin (née Fleming)

Ballytruckle, Bawnfune and Butlerstown, County Waterford, and formerly of Ballinlaw, Slieverue, County Kilkenny, and St Joseph’s Terrace, Athy, County Kildare.

Died Wednesday June 28, 2023 R.I.P.

Peacefully at University Hospital - Waterford.

Predeceased by her husband John.

Deeply regretted by her daughter Maria and son Richard, her adoring grandchildren Dean and Zara-Lilly, will be sadly missed by her brother Oliver, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May her gentle and kind soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Falconer's Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore (X91 TW21) on Sunday (July 2nd), from 3pm to 5pm, with prayers 4pm.Requiem Mass on Monday (July 3) at 11am in Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium,Ringaskiddy, County Cork at 12 noon Tuesday.

The family appreciates your sympathy, support and understanding at this difficult time.

County Kildare and late of Waterford and Tipperary, June 28, 2023, peacefully, at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Beloved son of the late Jim and Peg.

Deeply regretted by his wife Anne, daughters Niamh and Eithne, son Éanna, sons-in-law John and Steven, daughter-in-law Emma, grandchildren Cillian, Aoife, James, Caoimhe, Kate, Rian and Baby Sophie (R.I.P.), brothers Tommy (R.I.P.), Billy, Brian and Declan, sisters Margaret, Susan, Carmel and Angela, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Eileen (Ina) Murtagh (née Walsh)

Troyscourt, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / Threecastles, Kilkenny / Naas, Kildare

June 28, 2023 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Tom and much loved mother of Bernard, Caroline, Garrett and Pio.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, sisters Sr. Margaret and Anne, grandchildren, in-laws, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May Ina Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home (R95 FH90) from 4pm on Friday (June 30) with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 5pm.

Followed by removal to St. Canice's Church. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 2pm. followed by burial in Tulla Cemetery, Threecastles.

The death has occurred of Sr Cecilia Anne O'Rourke

Shalom Nursing Home, Kilcock, Kildare / Newtowngore, Leitrim

Formerly Killerin, Newtowngore, County Leitrim, Presentation Sisters Drogheda, Port Laoise, Maynooth and Kildare. June 29, 2023, peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Shalom Nursing Home Kilcock, County Kildare. Predeceased by her parents Francis and Jane Anne, brothers Tosh, Alphonsus and Ligouri and sister Mary Elizabeth.

Deeply regretted by her sister-in-law Peggy, her nephew Gerard and his wife Anne Marie, grandniece Leah, grandnephew Niall, her presentation community, relatives, past pupils and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Shalom Nursing Home on Friday (June 30) from 3pm to 5pm, followed by evening prayers and removal to St Coca's Church Kilcock. Requiem Mass on Saturday (July 1) at 10am followed by burial in St Mary's Parish Church, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim (arriving at approx 1.30pm)
