Palm Logistics, the dedicated affiliate of pan-European real estate investment firm Palm Capital has announced the rebranding of Naas Enterprise Park to Momentum Logistics Park, in the upgrading of facilities at the 250-acre park which it acquired in December 2021.

Palm says they aim to reposition the location as a world-class, sustainability-focused logistics park, providing best-in-class amenities. Adding that the new name and brand will emphasise the park's commitment to innovation and sustainability, as well as the dynamic nature of the businesses and people who work there.

The significant investment by Palm includes massive public realm improvements and new facilities, all of which will fall under a complete new branding scheme for the park.

Reda Khatim, Managing Partner and Founder of Palm Capital said, “Momentum Logistics Park will offer an environment with work-life balance at its core, where companies and people can thrive, with improved roads infrastructure, green spaces, outdoor exercise hubs, socialising areas, and an overall focus on wellbeing and sustainability. This is in line with our core values and strong focus on enhancing the built environment.”

In addition to the rebranding, Palm Logistics plans to develop new buildings and logistics facilities that adhere to the highest standards of sustainability, attracting other businesses to the location as a key national economic hub in Co. Kildare. In this regard, Palm will seek planning permission to develop a further 500,000 sq. ft. of logistics space at the park.

The redesign of Momentum Logistics Park will feature walking, running, and cycling tracks, an outdoor gym, a five-a-side pitch, improved signage, pedestrian and cycle lane infrastructure, electric bus service, and landscaped spaces that incorporate biodiversity and forest areas.

“This location provides access to an unrivalled catchment of talent and a strong labour pool, which enhances business opportunities at every level,” said Reda Khatim. “After considerable research and analysis, we’ll be rebranding the park to modern new identity, bringing new momentum and energy to bear in the interests of our valued occupiers.

“With a total planned investment of over €100 million, we will strive to revitalise this destination and reposition Momentum into Ireland’s leading logistics park”

The redevelopment and rebranding is supported by leading Irish architects, branding, and property management experts, with a dedicated Irish management team overseeing the project. The brand switchover is expected to be completed within the next six months.

Palm recently announced the sale of its 450,000 sq. ft. Greenogue Logistics Park asset in west Dublin to Ingka Investments, the investment arm of Ingka Group (owner and operator of IKEA stores). Completed in 2022, Greenogue Logistics was Palm’s first speculatively developed logistics development in Ireland, also achieving a LEED Silver accreditation and an A2 Building Energy Rating.
