Works due to take place in Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District this summer will result in a road closure, Kildare County Council (KCC) has said.
KCC, on behalf of Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District Office, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road: the L6062, from the L6062/L2032 to the L6062/L6063.
The closure will take place during the period between Tuesday, June 13, 2023 to Saturday, September 30, 2023, and is being implemented in order to facilitate the maintenance of the road network as per Section 13 of the Roads Act, 1993.
The duration of the closure at any one time will be for five days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
Southbound:
Travel along the L2032 to the junction of the L2032/L6063 (Corbally Cross).
Turn right onto the L6063 with the diversion finishing at the junction of the L6062/L6063 (Ballyme Cross).
Northbound:
Travel on the L6063 to the junction of the L2032/L6063 (Corbally Cross).
Turn left onto the L2032 with the diversion finishing at the junction of the L6062/L2032.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with KCC and An Garda Síochána.
Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
