Local politicians want to know the planned names for new residential developments before these are approved by Kildare County Council.
Members of Kildare County Council have been complaining for some times about inappropriate names being given to new apartment and housing projects.
Cllr Fintan Brett wants KCC to bring proposed names of estates in the Naas area to the Naas Municipal District "before the members for comment prior to their acceptance or otherwise by the planning department."
