A garda spokesperson has said that investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí who are investigating the fatal assault of Marcel Kusenda (Senior) outside a residence in Newbridge have arrested a man as part of the investigation.
The Slovakian national was pronounced dead at Naas General Hospital on Friday, March 10 last.
He was 47 years old.
His son, Marcel Jr, paid tribute to his late father on social media.

Commenting on the latest development, a garda spokesperson said: "The man (aged in his 30s) was arrested yesterday, Friday April 21, 2023, and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in County Kildare."
"Investigations are ongoing," they added.
