A Kildare county councillor was nominated for a role at the latest Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting.
Green Party Cllr Peter Hamilton was put forward as a nominee for the Kildare Sustainable Transport Forum following a vote.
The decision was made on Thursday, April 6.
