A new bookmakers is being proposed for Sallins, County Kildare.
Documents lodged with Kildare County Council show that applicants Orla and Claire Boyle are seeking planning permission for the change of use of a site located in Canal View.
The pair intend to open a bookmakers, replacing an existing ground-floor level floor bar/lounge/restaurant area.
The applicants are also seeking permission for external signage and all associated site works, in addition to the installation of two satellite dishes on the rear of the property (facing the south-west).
The date received is listed as March 29 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as May 2 and May 23 respectively.
