Redevelopment of a car park at a sports field located in Newbridge has been proposed.
According to documents lodged with Kildare County Council, The Board of Management of Patrician Secondary School intends to redevelop the car park at the Patrician Sports Field on College Park Road.
The proposed development will consist of the redevelopment of existing car park and adjoining area to provide for 82 car parking spaces.
50 of these spaces will be permanent spaces (including four disabled spaces), and used in the long term to provide for those using the sports facilities, and 32 of which will be temporary spaces (four-year period), which will help provide for temporary parking for the school over a period of 4 years, while redevelopment at the Patrician Secondary School Newbridge is completed.
The proposed development, utilising the existing access off College Park Road, would also include 30 bicycle parking spaces and the reinstatement of grassed areas once permission for the temporary parking spaces expires, in addition to all associated fencing, hardstanding, public lighting, site development, boundary treatments and drainage works.
The date received is listed as March 9 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as April 12 and May 3 respectively.
