KILDARE COURT: Woman scratched husband's face and ripped his clothing

A woman scratched her husband’s face and ripped his clothing, it was alleged at Naas District Court.

The woman was prosecuted for breaching a protection order.

The court heard that she was arrested at around 9.30pm on January 24 for breaching an order, which had been granted in December 2022.

The defendant made no reply and it was stated that both have orders against each other.

The man said he was assaulted by his wife as he was dropping off kids.

He had a scratch to his face and his hood was ripped.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the matter to allow for further information from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

There was no objection to bail.
