Amendments proposed for two apartment blocks in North Kildare

Amendments have been proposed for two apartment blocks located in Leixlip.

Planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council (KCC) shows that Mulberry Properties Limited is seeking consent from KCC to allow for the development at The Paddocks, Station Road in Leixlip.

The development would consists of one additional storey to Apartment Blocks 1 and 2, increasing their heights from three-storey to four-storey.

This will provide nine additional units, consisting of two additional one-bed units and three additional two-bed units in Apartment Block 1, and two additional one-bed units and two additional two-bed units in Apartment Block 2.

The date received is listed as December 14 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as January 26 and February 16.

According to the business information website SoloCheck.ie, Mulberry Properties Ltd is a construction company that was established in 2000.

It has an address listed as Charter House, 5 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, County Dublin (D02 FW61).

The company was previously granted planning permission by KCC for 58 new homes at the Paddocks in 2021.
