Mark Wall and O'Raghallaigh get transfer boost in tenth count of Kildare South

Where will Cathal Berry's transfers go? That is the question that will decide who takes the second and third seats in South Kildare.

Martin Heydon is already on target to take the first seat.

It is extremely tight at the moment behind him with Labour's Mark Wall and Shonagh Ni Raghallaigh benefiting most from Chris Pender's transfers in the tenth count.

Wall got 1,239 of those transfers to give him a total of 8744, which now sees him 432 votes ahead of Fiona O'Loughlin (FF).

Ni Raghallaigh recieved 1047 transfers, which sees her retain her second spot with 9,426 votes.

Cathal Berry has been eliminated, and his 4767 votes will now be redistributed.

Result of Kildare South - 10th Count

Distribution of Chris Pender's 388 votes

Heydon +389 - 10,217

Ni Raghalaigh +1047 - 9,426
