Noel Mooney new Raheens manager
Raheens, intermediate football champions this season who will play their trade in the senior championship come 2018 have a new manager.
Declan O’Toole who led the team for the past few seasons, gaining promotion to Division 1 and capturing the Courtyard Hotel Leixlip IFC this season, has stood down and will be replaced by Noel Mooney.
A popular and highly respected coach, Noel Mooney has been heavily involved with successful underage teams in the county over the past number of seasons, including the successful Kildare Leinster Minor teams; and led St Kevin’s this season to promotion to Division 1 and to the IFC semi final.
We wish Noel and Raheens all the best in the coming seasons.
