Another win for Lilies in promotion drive

Niall Kelly on the attack for Kildare against Longford in Pearse Park

“It’s good to get the three points, it’s three from three in the league but we still have plenty to work with but we can see where we need to improve.”

The words of Kildare manager Cian O'Neill following The Lilies win over Longford in Round 3 of the AFL in Longford on Sunday last, February 28.

The manager added that “we are looking at different players in different places, so I suppose we need to put a bit of perspective on that too and not to be too critical on the players, they are working incredibly hard.”

Kildare are back in action on Sunday next, March 6, when they take on Limerick at St Conleth's Park at 2 pm.
