Fresh off their huge win over Down last weekend, Kildare face Carlow this Sunday at 2pm in Cedral St Conleth's Park in their penultimate Allianz Hurling League Division 1B game.
The fixture will be streamed live on TG4 player/app with deferred coverage to shown on TG4 as well.
The Lilies have done a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of securing Division 1B survival with wins over Antrim and Down already secured. They face a Carlow side that took a home venue trimming to Clare last time out where they were handily beaten 1-28 to 0-18 and remain on a dangerous tally of just two points. The Dolmen County crucially beat fellow relegation-contenders Down on the opening day but fell to Antrim by 13 points when they visited Corrigan Park on February 22.
In truth, it wouldn't be getting above your station to say that Kildare should be winning this game, particularly on home soil. Brian Dowling's men, alongside an impressive Dublin side, are the only teams to have laid a glove on runaway table-toppers Clare and have dominated in their two winning fixtures so far.
