Kildare made it four wins from four as Brian Flanagan's charges recorded an excellent 12 point over neighbours Laois at Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbrige, this evening.
It was a game The Lilies dominated from the throw-in; were five points to the good after five minutes, one of these being an excellent two-pointer from Ben McCormack.
It took until the nineth minute for Laois to open, a free from Mark Barry, that being the no. 10s third attempt from the same position.
Kildare kicked on, Callum Bolton hit the second two-pointer of the day and with the home side dominating the lead was out to nine points before the half-time break Kildare 0-12 Laois 0-3.
There was little change in the second half as the home side continued to dominate in all sectors against a very disappointing Laois side. In all Kildare had different scorers, remain firmly on track for the no 1 objective that is to get out of Division 3.
Laois did add on a few points late on but the game was well and truly over at that stage with Kildare winning on a final score line of Kildare 0-21 Laois 0-9.
